Do free requests reset every month?

Check the allowance period on each plan. A one-time allowance does not reset. A monthly free allowance renews on the subscription anniversary. Free allowances are per application.

What data does the IP Geolocation API return?

Responses provide structured JSON containing country, region, city, postal code, latitude, longitude, timezone, currency, calling code, ASN, ISP, organization, and proxy/VPN risk signals.

Can IP geolocation identify someone’s exact physical street address?

No. IP geolocation estimates a geographic area such as a city, region, or country based on telecom network routing. It does not reveal a street address or individual personal identity.

How is sub-millisecond edge latency achieved?

The API is deployed on Cloudflare’s global edge network across 330+ data centers. Requests are answered directly from the data center closest to the requester, eliminating distance round-trips to an origin server.

Why are some plans unavailable for activation?

Their published pricing is available for comparison. Free allowances can be activated here; commercial plans with active checkout can be purchased. Custom enterprise tiers require contacting the provider directly.

What does the trust score tell me?

The score summarizes recorded catalog verification checks. Review the breakdown for individual signals; it is not an uptime or performance guarantee.
